Sleeves, Wraps & Support
Sleeves, Wraps & Support is a category that features a wide selection of sleeves and wraps designed to stabilize limbs during workouts. Here, you'll find wraps for reinforcing the back, elbow, wrist, knee, or ankle. Made of elastic material, these sleeves and wraps adapt to the shape of the limb, providing optimal support and allowing movement in natural positions. This helps reduce the risk of injury during exercise. These practical accessories are most commonly used by individuals with joint issues seeking to enhance stability.
However, they are also useful during weightlifting sessions when you need additional joint support. This makes them suitable for strength training, team sports, combat sports, and various recreational activities, as well as during rehabilitation periods following injury.
Types of sleeves and wraps:
- Neoprene sleeves: Featuring elastic material, these sleeves securely encase the knee, ankle, or elbow. Simply stretch them onto the limb before exercising. However, it's essential to choose the correct size for a proper fit.
- Classic wraps: Used for wrapping around the limb, these wraps offer the advantage of adjustability according to individual needs. They are suitable for the elbow, wrist, knee, or ankle.
- Therapeutic wraps: These wraps include gel inserts that can be cooled or heated as needed. Depending on the type, the wrap can be applied as a compress to the head, ankle, or knee. It provides relief, induces a sense of relaxation, and is particularly beneficial for athletes during the recovery phase following an injury.
In this category, you'll also find kinesiology tapes, which are suitable for strains or overuse injuries of muscles, tendons, or ligaments. They are easy to use and, when applied correctly, adhere well. They are commonly used by athletes, as well as individuals experiencing knee or other musculoskeletal issues. Additionally, there are rehabilitation tapes available, serving for compression wrapping of various body parts such as knees, elbows, or ankles. This leads to changes in muscle blood flow, which can ultimately result in improved mobility of the affected limb. Athletes have embraced this method during the recovery of weakened limbs and also in preparation for physical exertion.
The offer also includes the biceps blood flow restriction band. This tool operates on the Blood Flow Restriction (BFR) system, a training method based on localized blood flow restriction. This method is currently being extensively researched for its potential beneficial effects on creating an environment that would stimulate muscle growth (muscle hypertrophy). It is therefore suitable mainly for strength athletes. Furthermore, enthusiasts of racket sports will surely appreciate the compression arm sleeves. Lastly, for runners and other endurance athletes, we offer compression calf sleeves, which can enhance their performance.
