NAD+

NAD+ is a category of products related to the coenzyme NAD+ (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide). This molecule is naturally present in every cell of our body. It acts as a carrier of electrons and hydrogen ions within the energy metabolism. Thanks to this, it plays a role in energy production and enzymatic reactions, including those linked to DNA. This is precisely why it is the subject of various studies focused on longevity and healthy ageing.

Direct supplementation with NAD+ is not particularly effective, which is why precursors from which NAD+ is produced in the body are more commonly used. These precursors, or starting substances, include nicotinamide riboside (a precursor of NAD+) or vitamin B3 (niacin). However, this category also includes coenzyme Q10, which works in synergy with NAD+ within cellular metabolism. In addition, the coenzyme Q10 in this product is enriched with vitamin E, which helps protect cells from oxidative stress.
