If someone is short on money or lacking the means, why would they buy protein? I really do not get it. They cite Covid and other reasons here that it is expensive, and also that it is expensive because of something else—but it is relative what counts as “expensive.” In 2020, for example, I also bought Biotech USA 1 kg protein powder for around 4,000 forints on sale, but even though it was cheap, it always gave me a headache (probably because of aspartame). With Gym Beam protein powders, this problem does not occur; the protein powders here are of quite good quality, and they are worth this much. First, I bought 1 kilo, and it worked out well—so most recently, I bought the 2.5 kg bag. Among those, there was one that I could barely swallow after 1–2 weeks, and even that one eventually ran out. But honestly, I have never tasted a protein that was so shockingly artificial. Basically, after the first serving I feel like I don’t really want to drink another one, and that I’ll only be able to finish this one (chocolate-cherry) by mixing it into another protein. I don’t know whether it’s effective or not, or what the other flavors are like.
