Rice Protein - contains rice hydrolysate that boasts up to 79% of protein content while being low in sugar, making it suitable for weight loss and building muscle

Rice Protein is a plant-based protein powder with a low sugar content and up to 79% of protein content. It is therefore popular among all vegans and followers of plant-based diets, for whom quality comes first. It is made from rice grains, which are ground and enzymes are then used to separate the contained proteins from natural starches. After some more processing, we get a high-quality protein powder in the form of a plant-based hydrolysate that is rich in protein. As you may know, protein helps with muscle growth and the maintenance of healthy bones. However, it is also sure to be appreciated by athletes who are engaged in strength training and want to achieve the best results regarding muscle growth. It is also great for other active people as a way to take care of their optimal protein intake.

That said, this protein powder is also the ideal companion to have at hand during a diet, as it is low in sugar. This makes it suitable even for the most demanding athletes, such as fitness athletes or bodybuilders in prep, who keep a close eye on literally every gram of sugar, fat, and protein. Another advantage is that it is also a GLP-1 friendly product. And since this is a rice hydrolysate, quick digestibility is guaranteed. In addition, thanks to the high content of protein, this protein powder contributes to the maintenance of muscle mass. Next, we have its delicious taste, due to which it once again ranks among the top tier plant-based protein powders. If you want to further enhance its overall potential, it is ideal to combine it with legume protein powders, such as pea or soy, to optimize the intake of all essential amino acids.

No matter if your goal is to build muscle, lose weight, eat well or promote your overall health, in all these instances it is important that your diet contains enough protein. And this unique rice hydrolysate is the right choice to help you achieve your goals. All you need to do is use it to make a delicious shake or add it into your desserts or other dishes, which is an easy way to enrich them with necessary protein.

For everyone trying plant-based proteins for the first time, you should expect them to be completely different; after all, they come from plants. They are also very good if you use them alongside your favorite food—soups, stews, creams, and other dishes where you need either flour or something to thicken. The taste is not awful—just different. When you were a child, did you like coffee? Or new things? We all have expectations about flavors, and if they don’t match what we expected or don’t taste like something familiar, we assume they’re not good.

    Flavor: vanilla
Vanilla protein is so sweet that it is impossible to drink. The scent is also quite repulsive. The only positive aspect is how well it dissolves, but otherwise I do not recommend it at all.

    Flavor: chocolate, unflavored, vanilla
With still water and manual shaking, it really has a dreadful taste and texture, but if I cube it, add a banana, and blend it with a blender, plus a small ice cube, it becomes a particularly delicious smoothie. (Vanilla) I tried this because all the other proteins cause breakouts; I’ve been using this for a few weeks now and so far everything has been fine!

THE TASTE IS DISGUSTING!!!! The texture is very strange as well, and it produces a lot of foam. We’ve encountered this with other proteins before, but with this one it’s way too much.

I do not recommend it! Terrible taste—can’t be drunk. I was tempted by the price, and that’s how it turned out…

I have a lactose allergy. I say, let me try rice—awful smell, the taste is very bad. You shouldn’t drink it at all; not even unless the only thing is that it foams a lot. Unfortunately, I put both packages in my own box, which I threw away in the trash, and I also threw away 40 euros. It won’t do anything—I mean, you can’t drink this stuff at all.

The price is okay, but the taste leaves something to be desired. Also, GymBeam’s zip-lock packaging needs improvement.

As a standalone drink, I wouldn’t recommend it, but as an ingredient for cooking it’s good.

It mixes well and is light for digestion. For me, it was disappointing in terms of taste. I bought the vanilla flavour, but it is unbelievably sweet. It also contains artificial sweeteners, and the scent isn’t the best either.

I haven’t consumed 100% rice protein anymore; the texture doesn’t bother me, although it’s somewhat hard to swallow, nor does the taste—it’s like chalk, and it smells a bit strange. But it’s odd that when I cook it with oats (I cooked the oats separately and they don’t have any different aroma than oats), everything starts to develop a strong taste of something that has been burned/ignited, as if it had been stored under unfavorable conditions… The best-before date is only in 2024; I don’t know whether it’s necessarily a lack of flavor because of the storage, or if it’s normal for it to have this taste.
