I ordered L/XL because the product description states that it is EU 39–42 (my size is 40). So they are too large for me both in width and length. The sock is very narrow and tight around the ankle (and no, I do not have thick ankles—quite the opposite), but wide in the foot, with no elastic fabric around the instep in the middle of the foot (unlike, for example, socks of the same type from beastpink, which are fantastic). I gave it a rating of 2 (not 1) only because the material is good and the color is nice. I would not buy them again. I will wear them in winter for warmth :-).
