BIO Sunflower Protein - a plant-based, high-quality protein that is high in fibre and contributes to muscle growth

BIO Sunflower Protein is a wonderful source of plant-based protein, which contributes to the growth and maintenance of muscle mass as well as the maintenance of healthy bones. It is especially popular among strength-training athletes, but also among less active people, who have insufficient protein intake from their diet. But most importantly, it is the go-to protein for vegans. It is made from select sunflower seeds and boasts a high fibre content. Thus, it is also suitable for weight loss.

You can choose between flavoured or unflavoured versions. For example, the flavoured version includes BIO defatted cocoa powder and BIO coconut blossom nectar, that will take care of the delicious sweet taste. It does not contain any gluten, so it is also suitable for people who avoid gluten. Moreover, it is a GLP-1 friendly product.

What's more, sunflower protein has a wide variety of uses in the kitchen. You can do it the classic way and mix it together with water or milk. But if a purely vegetable drink is more up your alley, then simply use vegetable milk. In the same way, you can add this protein to your breakfast cereals or desserts to increase their overall protein content.

Its taste is disgusting—bitter. I didn’t expect it to be the same as burnt dust; what else could it be but chocolate caramel.

Because of a food intolerance, I tried this protein, but I will stick with this one anyway. The unflavoured one suits me—it has a kind of nutty, sunflower-seed taste. :) What’s more, there’s nothing else in it as an “additive,” just sunflower.
