Creatine HCl = hydrochloride in convenient capsules

Creatine HCl is a form of creatine bound to hydrochloric acid, and it is this bond that gives it significantly higher solubility than standard creatine monohydrate. The capsule form also makes taking it as convenient as possible. No mixing, measuring or dissolving in water - simply swallow the capsules, in the comfort of your home, on your way to training, to work or on holiday.

Creatine itself is backed by more than 680 peer-reviewed clinical studies, making it the most researched substance in sports nutrition. Its role is clear: it increases physical performance when your body moves from one short, intense set to the next. And because we know that promises of quality are not enough, we had the quality of this specific product tested by an independent accredited laboratory.

Creatine HCl – hydrochloride in convenient capsules
Why capsules and why HCl

There are two sides to this question. The first is convenience: capsules eliminate both mixing and the distinctive taste of creatine in water. There is no loose powder to spill in your bag and no scoop to carry around. Simply take the capsules anywhere — when travelling, to work or to training - and take your dose in seconds, accurately and conveniently, wherever you are.

The second concerns the ingredient itself. Creatine bound to hydrochloric acid dissolves significantly better than standard monohydrate, which in practice means less undissolved residue and for some people, greater digestive comfort too. We also use a plant-based (HPMC) capsule without gelatine, making the product suitable for vegans and vegetarians without compromise.

What's inside each capsule?

The formula is deliberately simple, with just what you need and nothing more. It is based on creatine HCl (hydrochloride), combined with a fully plant-based, gelatine-free hypromellose (HPMC) capsule and magnesium stearate, an excipient that prevents the powder from clumping during production. No colourings, no unnecessary fillers.

Each pack contains 120 capsules with a total weight of 112,8 g. A daily dose of 4 capsules provides 3 200 mg of creatine HCl, equivalent to approximately 2,5 g of pure creatine - at this dose, the active ingredient itself accounts for around 78 % of creatine HCl, with the remainder being the chloride bond responsible for improved solubility. At the recommended dose of 1-2 capsules twice daily (up to 4 capsules a day), one pack will last approximately a month of regular use.

What happens when you take creatine for 4 weeks

Creatine is a substance that your body naturally produces and stores in the muscles as phosphocreatine - an immediate source of energy for the first 10-15 seconds of each intense set. Supplementation can increase these stores by 20-40 %,1 and most people notice what happens next gradually, in several stages.

During the first week or two, your muscles begin to retain water within their cells, rather than under the skin, and you may look fuller and gain a kilo or two on the scales. This is a completely normal and desirable part of the process, not a sign that something is wrong. Around the second and third weeks, the effect usually becomes apparent where you most expect it — your final set feels a little easier and you manage one or two extra repetitions on squats, deadlifts or bench presses.4 After the fourth week, your muscles are fully saturated and recovery between sets and individual training sessions becomes noticeably faster.

Creatine is backed by more than 680 peer-reviewed clinical studies, and this extensive body of evidence is why the International Society of Sports Nutrition (ISSN) describes it as the most effective ergogenic supplement available to athletes today.1 The European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) has also officially confirmed this effect - at a daily intake of 3 g, creatine has been shown to increase physical performance during repeated short bursts of high-intensity exercise.2

Laboratory-verified purity and safety

We go beyond promises when it comes to quality. We had a sample independently tested at Labor Dr. Scheller, an accredited German laboratory (DAkkS accreditation), in two areas: heavy metals and microbiology. The results are clear - lead, cadmium and mercury levels are well below the EU legal limits under Regulation 2023/915,6 and the microbiological results were equally reassuring: yeasts, moulds and coliform bacteria remained below the limit of quantification, and the test for salmonella was negative.6 The product therefore meets the requirements of EU Regulation 2023/915 for maximum heavy metal levels, and the microbiological results are satisfactory. The creatine HCl content is stated according to the manufacturer's label - our independent testing verified the product's purity and safety.

Who is Creatine HCl suitable for
  • For people who dislike the taste of powdered supplements. Simply swallow the capsules with water, with no shaker and no unpleasant taste.
  • For those with sensitive digestion. Creatine HCl is better tolerated than monohydrate, so it may be a gentler option for people who have not got on well with monohydrate.
  • For strength athletes, CrossFitters, sprinters, MMA fighters and HYROX participants. Repeated short bursts of high-intensity exercise are exactly where creatine's effects are most apparent.1
  • For people on the go. Take the capsules to training away from home, to work or on holiday without the risk of powder spilling in your bag.
  • For vegans and vegetarians. The capsule is plant-based (HPMC), and a plant-based diet provides almost no creatine, so supplementation may be particularly beneficial for you.1
  • For women. Creatine is not a hormone, and women benefit from it just as men do, without any risk of masculinisation.
  • For people in a calorie deficit, including those taking GLP-1 medications (Ozempic, Wegovy, Mounjaro). Creatine is sugar-free and calorie-free and complements strength training, which helps preserve muscle mass during weight loss.
Who is Creatine HCl suitable for?

Creatine HCl - creatine hydrochloride in capsule form for increased performance during intense exercise

Creatine HCl is a functional form of creatine, which is formed by binding a creatine molecule to hydrochloric acid (HCl). It is used in dietary supplements as an alternative to the classic creatine monohydrate. Creatine is popular among athletes of all categories. It increases physical performance during consecutive short intervals of intense training. This can be manifested, for example, by higher barbell loads or more repetitions or longer sprints. This effect is particularly appreciated by strength athletes, runners and other active people who want to push themselves constantly. Another great advantage is also the fact that it is a GLP-1 friendly product.

In addition, for women and men over 55 years of age, daily intake of creatine can support the effect of strength training. To see these benefits, you need to take 3 g of creatine every day and work out consistently. Your training should focus on strength and be done at least three times per week, gradually increasing the weight and maintaining an intensity of 65–75% of your one-rep max.

In one daily dose, i.e. 4 capsules, you will take 3200 mg of creatine. You will thus meet the requirement of a daily dose of 3 g of creatine, which must be achieved for a beneficial effect. Thanks to the convenient capsule form, it is easy to take and suitable for anyone who does not prefer the powder form. All you need to do is take them with water, and you've got your creatine dose sorted.
