Omega 3 + Vitamin D3 combines fish oil with vitamin D3 in its most absorbable form. The daily dose provides 600 mg of omega-3 fatty acids (360 mg EPA and 240 mg DHA) and 50 µg (2000 IU) of vitamin D3. The fish oil is sourced from wild Peruvian anchovies, and the omega-3 fatty acids are in the natural triglyceride form. Excellent freshness (TOTOX 7,6) is directly verified by laboratory analyses. We regularly test purity, safety and active ingredient content in independent laboratories in Germany.
Omega 3 + Vitamin D3 GymBeam contains 2000 mg of fish oil and 600 mg of omega-3 fatty acids in the form of 360 mg EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid) and 240 mg DHA (docosahexaenoic acid). This is complemented by 50 µg (2000 IU) of vitamin D3 in the form of cholecalciferol, which is 1000 % of the daily nutrient reference value. Product quality is guaranteed by independent third-party laboratory tests, with results available in the Laboratory Tests section.

Omega-3 fatty acids EPA and DHA cannot be produced by the body in sufficient amounts, so regular dietary intake is important. Their main natural sources are oily sea fish such as salmon, mackerel and sardines. The European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) recommends a daily intake of at least 250 mg EPA and DHA for adults.1 However, numerous studies show that actual intake in a large proportion of the population falls well short of this amount.2,3
It is worth noting that our bodies can produce EPA and DHA from another essential omega-3 fatty acid called alpha-linolenic acid. Sources of this fatty acid are not particularly abundant in our diets either. Moreover, this conversion is very limited and, in practice, cannot ensure an optimal supply of EPA and DHA for our health.4 Factors such as obesity, insulin resistance, stress or a high intake of omega-6 fatty acids can reduce it further.5
Our bodies can produce vitamin D themselves, but need sufficient UV radiation from sunlight to do so.6 However, outside summer, there may not be enough sunlight for vitamin D synthesis in Europe for much of the year. We can also obtain vitamin D from our everyday diet. Its main sources include oily sea fish, eggs and foods specifically fortified (enriched) with vitamin D.7 Despite this, up to 40 % of the European population has insufficient vitamin D levels in the blood.8
These scientific findings therefore suggest that achieving the recommended intake of both nutrients can be difficult. Omega 3 + Vitamin D3 GymBeam offers a simple way to help address this potential problem. Two capsules a day provide your body with a sufficient dose of both nutrients in highly absorbable forms.
1. Highly absorbable forms of both vitamin D3 and Omega-3
In everyday foods and dietary supplements, vitamin D is found as animal-derived cholecalciferol and plant-derived ergocalciferol. Studies conclude that our bodies convert cholecalciferol into the active form of vitamin D more efficiently than ergocalciferol.9 This is precisely why we chose this form for our product.
Vitamin D is a lipophilic vitamin, meaning it is fat-soluble, so taking it alongside fat is highly recommended for optimal absorption.10 That is why combining vitamin D with fish oil makes perfect sense: the oil helps its absorption!
The source of omega-3 is fish oil obtained from wild Peruvian anchovies (Engraulis ringens), caught off the coast of Peru in the Pacific Ocean. The fatty acids EPA and DHA are present in the chemical form of triglycerides (TG), which is among the most readily absorbed forms of EPA and DHA in dietary supplements.11
2. An effective and safe dose of EPA, DHA and vitamin D3
For vitamin D3, we chose a dose of 50 µg (2000 IU), equivalent to 1000 % of the nutrient reference value (NRV), a dose often considered the gold standard for vitamin D supplementation. Official recommendations target a blood 25(OH)D level of at least 50 nmol/l, the minimum for maintaining normal bones. Some experts now favour levels above 75 nmol/l.12 And a dose of 50 µg can help you reach this level more easily.
50 µg (2000 IU) of vitamin D3 is also completely safe for long-term use. According to EFSA, a long-term daily intake of up to 100 µg (4 000 IU) is safe for a healthy adult.13
The daily dose of 2 capsules provides 360 mg EPA and 240 mg DHA, totalling 600 mg of omega-3 fatty acids. Following this recommendation easily meets EFSA's basic recommendation of 250 mg EPA and DHA daily.1
3. Excellent fish oil freshness and a low TOTOX value
Because of its naturally high content of polyunsaturated fatty acids, including omega-3 EPA and DHA, fish oil is prone to oxidation (rancidity). This causes an unpleasant fishy aftertaste and digestive discomfort after consumption. The degree of oxidation is expressed by the TOTOX (Total Oxidation Value). The lower the number, the fresher and higher-quality the oil. Our fish oil has a TOTOX value of 7,6. This is well below the limit of 26 set by the international organisation GOED (Global Organization for EPA and DHA Omega-3s).14 This ensures that the oil is truly effective, safe and fresh, and can be taken without unpleasant side effects.
4. Quality and safety under third-party supervision
Every batch is tested by an independent laboratory for its active ingredient content: vitamin D3, EPA and DHA. An integral part of this is also safety testing, including a microbiological and heavy metals panel (mercury, cadmium, lead). Although concerns are sometimes raised about frequent consumption of sea fish and their potentially high heavy metal content, particularly mercury, you do not need to worry about this with fish oil supplements.15 This is because the fish oil is specially purified and contains no heavy metals. Our results for Omega 3 + Vitamin D3 GymBeam are openly available in the “Laboratory Tests” section.

Although omega-3 fatty acids EPA and DHA and vitamin D are currently being studied in relation to many aspects of human health, we do not want to make any claims that are not backed by reliable scientific evidence, so we only list officially approved health claims.16
1. Heart health
EPA and DHA support normal heart function. According to EFSA (European Food Safety Authority), this effect is established at a daily intake of at least 250 mg of EPA and DHA, which our daily dose of 600 mg comfortably provides.
2. Immune system
Vitamin D supports normal immune system function. This makes it one of the most closely monitored micronutrients, particularly during the colder months of the year, when the immune system typically faces greater demands.
3. Absorption and utilisation of calcium and phosphorus
Vitamin D contributes to the normal absorption and utilisation of calcium and phosphorus. These are essential components of the structure of bones and teeth. Without enough vitamin D, the body cannot effectively absorb or utilise calcium and phosphorus from food.
4. Healthy bones and teeth
Vitamin D contributes to healthy bones and teeth. This is a general function of vitamin D, important for growing children, people recovering from illness or injury, athletes and older adults. This product is not intended for children.
5. Cell division
Vitamin D also plays a role in the process of cell division, which is essential for maintaining the function of cells, tissues and organs. This process continues throughout life and is vital for maintaining health.
6. Muscle function
Vitamin D contributes to the maintenance of normal muscle function. This is important for all athletes as well as active older adults, for example.

Who is Omega 3 + Vitamin D3 suitable for?
1. People who do not regularly eat oily sea fish. If salmon, mackerel, sardines or similar fish are not on your plate at least twice a week, your EPA and DHA intake is very likely to fall short of recommended levels. Oily sea fish are also a rich source of vitamin D.
2. Athletes and active people. Omega-3 fatty acids support normal heart function. Vitamin D plays a role in normal muscle function and calcium metabolism, both key areas for performance and recovery.
3. Busy people who do not have time to manage multiple dietary supplements. Omega-3 EPA and DHA, together with vitamin D3, are among the nutrients with the greatest health benefits. Our dietary supplement provides them together in sufficient amounts and highly absorbable forms, without the need for additional products. Simple and without compromise.
4. People who prioritise their health. Omega 3 and vitamin D have proven effects on many aspects of health linked to longevity, such as healthy bones, a healthy heart and a well-functioning immune system. Paradoxically, they are also among the nutrients for which insufficient intake is most frequently observed. If health is your priority, ensuring an adequate intake should not be overlooked.
5. People on a weight-loss diet or taking GLP-1 medications. A weight-loss diet carries the risk of reduced intake of a range of essential nutrients, including the healthy fats omega-3 EPA and DHA and vitamin D. There is no easier way to help ensure your intake of these important nutrients than with the Omega 3 + Vitamin D3 GymBeam dietary supplement.

Dosage
Take 2 capsules daily. Never take on an empty stomach. Instead, take with a meal containing fat to support the absorption of vitamin D3 as well as EPA and DHA.
There are several ways to incorporate Omega 3 + Vitamin D3 GymBeam into your daily supplement routine.
- In the morning with breakfast. It fits naturally into your daily routine, giving you one thing to tick off first thing in the morning.
- With your main meal of the day. If your breakfast is mostly carbohydrates with almost no fat, it may make more sense to take this supplement with a lunch containing more fat to support optimal absorption and, in turn, its effects.
- Even in the evening. There is a theoretical hypothesis that vitamin D could slightly affect melatonin production. However, relevant clinical evidence for this effect on sleep is lacking, so vitamin D combined with omega 3 can be taken at any time of day without concern.
- All year round, especially from autumn to spring. Vitamin D supplementation makes the most sense during periods with little sunlight. However, supplementation should primarily be based on your current blood vitamin D level.
You can supplement EPA and DHA long term if your regular diet does not provide an adequate intake.
If you have any doubts about the appropriate dosage due to your health condition, pregnancy, breastfeeding or medications you take, we recommend consulting a doctor or dietitian before using this dietary supplement. This product is not intended for children.

FAQ
GymBeam Omega 3 + Vitamin D3 is a dietary supplement specifically formulated to provide both of these nutrients together. Each softgel capsule contains a combination of fish oil, which is a source of omega-3 fatty acids, and added vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol). While some fish oils may naturally contain small amounts of vitamin D, GymBeam Omega 3 + Vitamin D3 is specifically enriched with vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol). This ensures a consistent and reliable amount of both the omega-3 fatty acids and vitamin D3 in every two-capsule serving, as detailed in the product's ingredient list.
You can take the two daily capsules of GymBeam Omega 3 + Vitamin D3 at any time that is convenient for your schedule. The product is designed for flexible use. To help establish a consistent habit, some people prefer to take their capsules with a meal, but this is not a strict requirement.

Pregnant and breastfeeding women should consult a doctor before use. If you have any pre-existing health conditions or concerns, it is always best to consult with your healthcare provider before starting any new supplement.
GymBeam Omega 3 + Vitamin D3 is not suitable for either vegetarians or vegans. The formula's primary ingredient is fish oil, which is derived from a marine source. GymBeam Omega 3 + Vitamin D3 offers flexibility, as it can be taken at any time of day. While it is not required, taking the recommended dose of two capsules with a meal is a practical option. This can aid in establishing a consistent daily routine and is a common practice for taking oil-based supplements.
The primary ingredient in GymBeam Omega 3 + Vitamin D3 is natural fish oil. Due to the natural origin of this ingredient, slight variations in the color and clarity of the oil inside the softgels can occur between different production batches. This is a normal characteristic and does not indicate a change in the product's quality or composition.
